Sometimes we think of angels as women a bit too often but
men are or can be angels too. The most famous Archangels are associated with
images of being male because of the feeling of male energies, but in general,
angels do not have a gender. Their energies can feel male or female and they
may associate more with men or women here on Earth, but they do not mind if we
think of them as male or female.
With this in mind I wondered why it might be that we
associate women with angels and it is because as a society we sometimes feel
that men do not love as deeply, strongly, or unconditionally as women do, but
we are in a time and place that this is going to change. We have already seen
proof of this in our society and news. There are men all over showing their
unconditional love and compassion for strangers. So let's help perpetuate this.
Let's show more angels as men and remember that everyone can have wings and fly
as high as there soul wants them to.
Love and Light ~
Actually for me I have always associated angels with men. I believe it is because the only experience I have with them is from the church growing up, and they always portrayed angels as men. It is hard for me to even imagine the angels as women! Every time I hear an arch angel's name or read about them I am always imagining them as a he. I have to remind myself that in essence they are androgynous.
